Benefits of Drinking Water

There are a lot of benefits to drinking water, even though it doesn’t taste all that great, and you would rather probably have some fruit juice or a cold drink.

Since our body is made up of at least 70% of water there are a lot of good benefits to drinking it. The recommendation is to at least drink 8 glasses of water a day, or 2 liters per person.

You need to drink water to keep yourself from becoming dehydrated after sweating a lot, or even just to keep yourself hydrated during the day regardless of what you are doing.

Remember, if you are doing more intensive work you might need to drink more water. This will keep you from getting physically sick and cramps in your legs and arms from dehydration.

It is also one of the few things you can drink a lot of and not gain weight, it might also help you lose weight. Water doesn’t have calories (unless they have added a lot of minerals and other things) so you can drink as much as you want without worrying about gaining weight.

Water also helps with headache and back aches. This happens because one of the most common causes of headaches is dehydration. It also helps to combat illnesses, such as flu, stomach bugs and many others.

It will help your skin. It keeps it moisturized, fresh, and keeps it from getting wrinkled. If you drink cool water after coming in from enormous heat, it will help to cool your core temperature and help you cool down faster.

Water is just plain good for you, it’s the best thing you can put in your body, since your body is mostly made up of it anyways. And it’s free, so that’s a benefit as well.
