Hair Masks For Dry Scalp

Does your scalp feel itchy, dry and is flaky? If so, then you have dry scalp! Here are a few simple hair masks you can make at home to help get some relief.

They are really easy to make and normally just need a few simple items you will most likely already have at home.

First mask is made by combining 2 ripe bananas, 2 teaspoons of lime juice, 2 teaspoons of olive oil and 2 teaspoons of honey in a food processor and let it all get smashed together.

Once it’s all smooth take the mask and rub it into your scalp and the ends of your hair and massage it in. Leave the mask on for 30 minutes and wash out using shampoo. This is also very effective against dandruff and very dull hair.

You don’t like bananas? Well then, here is another alternative that you can try. Take a handful of avocados and mix them with a tablespoon of honey. When they are all mashed together, gently massage it on your scalp and leave on for 20 minutes. Make sure you rinse it off with warm water, and if you feel like it follow it up with some mild shampoo.

The simplest recipe is just to take some plain yogurt and massage it on your scalp. If you want you can submerge an egg into the yogurt, and mix it. Then apply while massaging in circular motions and leave it on for 20 minutes and rinse it out. Don’t be fooled, just because this seems like simple recipe, it will do wonders for your scalp.

Make sure you wash your hair out completely and get all traces of the mask out, if you still feel some left make sure you shampoo at least once, if not twice. If you want to you can also use a conditioner afterwards.
