Makeup Tips for Redheads

Redheads are generally considered mysterious and feminine but being a redhead wasn't too easy especially in the past. Nowadays its a real gift, emphasizing your strengths can be a real fun - here are some makeup tips to get the most out of your eye and hair color.

Face:-

When applying foundation the aim is not to alter your skin tone, but to even it out and get a smooth canvas. Opt for shades that are very close - if not the same - to your natural skin tone. Try to stay away from shades with pink undertones, since your red hair already adds warmth to your face - instead opt for beige hues and yellow undertones.

Do not try to hide your freckles, these are your signature features - instead, let them peek through under a sheer creamy foundation or even a tinted moisturizer if you don't need heavy coverage.

Use a concealer (green-based concealer) if needed to hide blemishes, spots or under eye circles. Then set the face makeup with powder.

Cheeks:-

When choosing a blush opt for coral and peachy shades if your skin is fair, while darker skin-toned redheads can use also raisin colors.
Experiment with different formulas until you find what will work for you (cream, pressed, mineral, mousse or liquid blushers).

Eyes:-

When selecting eye shadows you have just as many options as blondes or brunettes have. Neutral and earth tones, especially greens look great on you, but you can also wear plum, blue, pinks, taupes, violets, moss greens, hazels, golds and bronzes.
Black might look too harsh on you, so red-brown or brown mascaras and eyeliners are the best.

Lips:-

Coral, peach and pink tones will look great on all redheads, but they can also experiment with red dramatic lips - opt for red lipsticks that are orange-based rather than blue-based. Your hair color radiates warmth, try to keep up this effect with your makeup too.

Monsoon makeup tips – How to look beautiful in Rainy season

During rainy weather, thick makeup gets washed and soiled out. So it is important that you stick to light and sheer makeup during the wet, humid climate. While doing monsoon makeup, make sure you have waterproof mascara, water eyeliners, waterproof foundation and transfer resistant lip colors. This is because waterproof cosmetics do not get washed away under rains. Here are some smart monsoon makeup tips to make you look sexy and stunning- have a look!

1. First and foremost instead of using foundation, go for loose face powder to avoid the mess in rainy season. Discontinue the use of concealer during monsoons. To reduce the visibility of dark circles, make use of foundation. Make sure you use waterproof foundation during monsoons. Remember that silicon based foundations become part of skin and are your best bet during monsoons. Avoid wearing makeup near hairline because if hair turns wet in rains, they can ruin your makeup entirely.

2. Avoid using eyebrow pencil during rainy season. Keep your eyebrows up to the mark by trimming, threading, plucking and waxing them. Remember that eyeliners runs, eye shadow bleeds and kajal smudges badly during monsoons if you get wet, so stick to kohl pencil and powder based eye shadows to get perfect monsoon makeup.

3. Go for lighter shades of blush-on that matches with your skin tone perfectly. Avoid using powder blushers as they cause patches on your skin. Use cream based blushers as they are water friendly and can be easily dabbed with a tissue in case face gets wet. Try the peach and brown shade blushers during monsoons.

4. Stay away from creamy and glossy lipsticks in monsoons. Instead go for long lasting and transfer- resistant lipsticks for your monsoon makeup. You can try out transparent lip- gloss during monsoons to get a natural look this season.

Make Natural Vitamin E Hand Cream
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that can keep your skin looking young and healthy. The vitamin can be an essential part of your natural hand creams as well, as it works as a preservative to extend the shelf life of your homemade products.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need
Sweet almond oil
Beeswax
Vitamin E capsules
Double boiler
Essential oil
Small jars with tight fitting lids
1
Combine 4 oz. of sweet almond oil, 1 oz. of beeswax and the oil from six 400 IU vitamin E capsules in the top portion of a double boiler. Heat the mixture over low heat until the wax melts. Don't overheat the oils, as too much heat can destroy the natural healing properties of the oil. At no time should the mixture be too hot to touch.

2
Remove the mixture from heat and add 10 drops of your favorite essential oil. The healing properties of chamomile, lavender and orange are all great options that will accentuate the healing properties of your vitamin E hand cream.

3
Stir the ingredients constantly as the mixture cools. While still warm enough to pour, carefully distribute the finished vitamin E hand cream into small jars with tight fitting lids. Allow the cream to cool completely before sealing.

4
Extend the shelf life of your natural hand creams by keeping them in a cool, dark place or even in the refrigerator.
