Milk is the healthiest food source available. A yummy protein shake, warm glass of milk or some yoghurt recipe, you can enjoy milk anywhere and anytime. Milk is not only good for health but it’s also a wonderful beauty aid. Milk is used in many beauty and hair packs since ages. In ancient times, women use to take milk bath to maintain their beauty.
1) Improves complexion:--
Milk can give you even skin tone, remove tan from your face and can improve your complexion. Take one cup milk in a bowl, add 2-3 tbsp of gram flour in it and add 2 tbsp of lemon juice. Mix everything completely. Apply this mixture on your face and arms to get rid of tan. You can do this every day to see effective and faster results. You can also store this mixture for one week in an air tight container.
2) Best natural Cleanser:--
Don’t use harsh cleansers on your face; you can use milk to cleanse your face. First wash your face with a mild face wash. Then, dab cotton pads in milk and cleanse your face by wiping it on your face. Milk will take away all the impurities and dust from your face. It will also nourish your face and will not make it dry like other cleansers.
3) Glowing skin Mask:--
Take 2 tbsp of milk cream (malai), 1 tbsp of honey and 2 tbsp of gram flour. Mix it well using raw milk. Now apply this mask on your face and let it stay for 30 minutes. Then rinse off with plain water. This face will remove tan from your face as it contains gram flour and milk. It will also hydrate your skin as it contains the goodness of honey too. Try this simple and easy skin softener face mask using milk.
4) Shiny hair:--
Mix one egg and one cup of milk together. You can also add honey or olive oil. Apply this pack on your hair and keep it for 45 minutes. Now wash off and shampoo as usual. This hair-pack will condition your hair and will add a nice sheen to them. Applying this hair pack once a week will make your hair healthy.
5) Lightens Facial Hair:--
Milk can also act as a natural bleaching agent and help you in getting rid of facial hairs. Just take raw milk and add pinch of turmeric in it. Now apply it on your face using cotton pads. Let it stay for around 15 minutes and then rinse off with fresh water. While rinsing, scrub your face slightly.
6) Healthy Hair Mask:--
Mask one banana and add one cup of milk in it, you can also increase the amount of milk according to length of your hairs. Now both of them completely in a blender to make a smooth paste, it will look like banana shake. Now add 2-3 tbsp of olive oil in it. Apply this mixture on your scalp and hair completely. Keep it for 45 minutes and then shampoo as usual. This hair pack will make your hair healthy, nourished and will also control frizz. You will not need a conditioner after using it.
