Things You’ll Need:
* Powder foundation
* Makeup brush or puff
Powder foundation makeup is ideal for oily skin, and is easy to use. Follow these steps to apply powder foundation makeup flawlessly for a beautiful finish.
1.
Step 1
Pick a powder foundation makeup that matches your skin tone. You can test the shade by applying it to your neck and jawline area–it should blend in perfectly.
2.
Step 2
Use a makeup puff or makeup brush. If possible, use a fluffy brush, and swirl it into the powder foundation. Tap off the excess powder from the brush.
3.
Step 3
Apply the powder lightly to each section of your face (including eyelids) with the makeup brush in circular, downward strokes. Apply one layer with a light hand all over for a natural look, and blend the color into the jaw and neck area. Go over again lightly as needed for more coverage but don’t overdo it.
4.
Step 4
Use a little water on a cotton swab or your finger, and lightly go over your eyebrows to remove any powder. Clear mascara or an eyebrow wax pencil works, too. Also check your eyelashes and go over them with mascara or water to remove any powder.
Tips & Warnings
*
Apply foundation in natural lighting for the best results. Check the color match against your neck (and not your hand) for the perfect color shade. You may need a darker shade during the summer if you tan.
*
Never share makeup for sanitary reasons.
*
Store makeup in a cool, dry place.
*
Clean your makeup brush regularly
